Pastoral ministries serve our parishioners and community by bringing the Love of Christ into their lives, especially during times of need.
If you are in need of support or feel called to serve, please fill out the form below.
Alzheimer's Care Ministry- volunteers offer friendship and support to individuals who are suffering from dimensiam, as well as to their families. Training and support for the ministry is offered through Eddy Alzheimer Services at monthly meetings.
Bereavement Support- an outreach to parishioners who have recently lost a loved one, both individually and in group meetings. We hold 6-month sessions on the First Tuesday of the month at the Parish Center.
Parish Care of the Sick- we come to parishioners experiencing separation from our church community due to illness and bring the Most Holy Eucharist and prayer. Please contact Caterina Lucke directly if you would like to become a minister or request a visit: [email protected]
Martha and Mary Ministry- we reach out to our parish family and community to provide spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Volunteers can serve from the womb to the tomb, whether it's support over the phone, in person, or prayer support, we help grow the community that deepens our relationship with God. Modeling Martha and Mary, our ministers work in pairs.
Walking with Moms- Most Reverend Joseph F. Naumann, Archbishop of Kansas City in Kansas, started Walking with Moms in Need to help parishes support local women in need of assistance during and after pregnancy. After the over turning of Roe v Wade, St. Mary's in Ballston Spa is more dedicated than ever to partner with organizations like Birthright, Rachel's Vineyard, and more.
