At St. Mary’s we have a special way for you to help a family member or friend who is experiencing a difficult time. Just contact a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry and within a week you will receive a handmade prayer shawl, lap robe, or baby blanket. We will also include a special prayer asking God’s help in renewing health and spirit.

Prayer shawls give the recipient a visual reminder of God’s love and your support. The shawls can be given to those suffering a serious illness or those that have lost a loved one, as well as for joyous occasions such as births and baptisms. Prayer Shawl Request boxes are located at the church entrances. Fill out the short request form with your name and the reason for request.
